Copy shows some ageing on cover and a few marks in end titles.
A RARE copy as it includes original prints of three signed photos by Carl van Vechten of Stein, Thomson and the singers taking the two main roles Dorothy Dow as Susan Anthony and William Horne as Jo the Loiterer. These are often missing from other copies on sale.
The opera is inspired by the life and times of Susan B Anthony and includes a number of American public figures including Ulysses S Grant and Lillian Russell.
As far as can be discerned this is the only complete copy for sale in the UK.
