First edition published London 1839 by Samuel Highley of John Morgan's book on opthalmology based on notes from lectures he taught his students at Guy's Hospital to whom he dedicated the book.

18 plates 16 of which are  hand coloured. Publisher's advertisements at beginning and end , original cloth joints neatly strengthened spine ends restored slight bumping to corners and shelf wear. 8vo.
