Introduction by Siegfried Sassoon who was instrumental in getting the collection published after Owen’s death with financial support from Edith Sitwell . With an unfinished preface by Owen found among his papers after his death. One of the most important poetry collections certainly of war poetry.
Text pages are exceptionally clean, endpapers have staining and front end paper has top cut which exposes the half title page title when you open the cover . please see photos. Boards are marked and faded with bumping at corners and slight rippling on front bottom. Slight binding split on one page No ownership markings or writing anywhere.
