Good condition foxing to end titles. Dust jacket good some tears grubbiness and marks.

The Mandrake Press, London, 1929. 232 pp.  This is a Limited Edition Number  of 600 copies and the contents are very good indeed. Unmarked internally with no inscriptions. Slight offsetting of frontis engraving. The contents start with contributions from Genesis then through Pliny, Plato, Seneca and Petronius before Dickens, Norman Douglas and James Joyce (inter alia) An enjoyable romp. Size: 11" x 8"
