Alechinsky, Pierre Football World Cup 1982

Pierre Alechinsky ( 1927-) is a Belgian artist who has lived in France for most of his life. This poster was created for the World Cup held in Spain in 1982 and specifically for matches held in Alicante. The image is of a man playing football made out of imprints of a football.

Very large original lithographic poster, published by Maeght, signed in the plate but also hand signed by the artist, with a dedication ‘pour Dominique Mathias’.

Size: 95 cm x 60 cm.
